Using my old Matador to pull a fairish tree.

This one had to go the right way, it was really close to the Cottage.

Some brilliant 'photos Mike. What's the story behind this trailer ? Did you build it ?

No, I bought it from Skellingthorpe Sawmills. It is one of two they built and ran. It is a hybrid, with an Eagle back bogey and a Dyson front axle and turntable. It was plated at 24 tons gross. I sold it to Bryant's of Risborough, who sold it to Nick Baker, It now lives on the GDSF show site in a very sorry state. When I sold it the three line brakes worked well, all the lighting was there and it could pass a ministry test. Now it is a wreck and it hurts me to look at it. It gets dragged around behind steam engines now, totally unbraked. They have even bu66ered the hand brake.

But when you sell something, there is no guarantees someone feels about it as you do!
