Smithy Posted July 13, 2008 Share Posted July 13, 2008 Last weekend I paid a visit to RAF Shawbury to see how the Horsa and Waco Gliders were coming on during their Vetrans Weekend. Here are some pictures I took whilest visiting. Included are the vehicles that turned up for the event and the three aircraft that were on display. Although I'm pretty sure the Horsa is just going to be a static display as they have (from what I saw) cut a hole and added steps into the side of the hull. Now if this is able to come off I am not sure but wouldn't it be great to see them up in the air again.
